My name is Amber and I am a clean eater,hi. Thank you for visiting, please bear with me while I figure out how this blog world works. I promise to keep my entries short enough to keep you engaged, but long enough to get you #inspired! The purpose of this blog is for the opportunity to share my healthy lifestyle with the universe. From food posts to beauty tips, I plan on sharing how I live a clean lifestyle. A clean lifestyle, for me, goes beyond just ingesting whole foods. Everything from my laundry detergent to my chewing gum is “clean.” A nutrition label or any label, for that matter, is what dictates my life. Rule #1 of the clean eating club is, if you can’t pronounce it-don’t eat it! These are, typically, chemicals. Chemicals that eventually lead to cancers, diseases and illnesses. My posts will detail correlations between certain foods and their reactions within the body. For instance, Aspartame, ya know the nasty stuff found in RedBull? Well, the food industry has gotten clever and has multiple synonyms for the deadly artificial sweetener. They even promote a product stating “aspartame free”, but list Acesulfame potassium which is, Aspartame. This is an example of the tips I will provide so you can avoid the food industries sneaky techniques(bastards). I plan on posting facts, reviews, sales, stores, products and (of course) recipes. Sundays I spend about 2-3 hours meal prepping for the upcoming week, I will be posting the menu and the recipes to go along so you can try them for yourself or share them with your friends and family. Nothing I cook is complicated, I like a simple dish, dishes that usually take 20-30mins prepared/cooked, and with only a few ingredients.
My goal is to help people understand food, to realize Mother Earth provides all the nutrients and vitamins we need to survive, and to appreciate a meal that will not only taste good, but nourish the body both internally and externally. You would be surprised by the effects a whole foods diet can provide to the skin alone. I hope to #inspire- a good friend once said to me “never give up, you never know who you are inspiring.” It’s been about 4 years since i heard that and look where I am today. Thank you for your support!
