1 lb Ground Turkey
1 c Cooked Brown Rice
1 Package Frozen Organic Veggies
1 Tbsp Minced, Fresh Ginger
1 Tbsp Minced, Fresh Garlic
1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
2 Tbsp Braggs Liquid Aminos or Tamari
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Pink Himalayan Sea Salt/Pepper
Wok It Out:
- Cook frozen veggies according to package. Drain when cooked, set aside.
- In a wok or large skillet on medium- high heat, heat olive oil. Once heated, add garlic and ginger, cook until becomes fragrant(30- 45 secs) then add ground turkey., season with salt/pepper.
- Once turkey is cooked, add veggies and rice to wok or skillet, then add rice wine vinegar, hoisin, and aminos. Stir to evenly coat mixture.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tidbits:
- Frozen veggies are flash frozen at their peak, making them a great addition to this dish.
- If you like a scrambled egg in your rice, make a hole in your rice mixture, crack an egg and scramble it in the middle of your rice.
- Soy sauce can be used for this recipe, BUT look into swapping it out and replacing with liquid aminos. Much healthier alternative with nutritional benefits!
